Terms & Conditions

By placing an order, accepting a quote and/or paying Sarah Alison you are forming a legally binding contract for the products and services, and you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions may be changed by Sarah Alison from time to time.

Custom Design

Custom designed invitations and products will be quoted separately. Each order that is custom designed takes time and creativity. This is why we require a deposit to cover design and layout time before we commence designing. There is a limit of up to 3 revisions per custom design. Any further revisions will be at an extra cost. Sarah Alison reserves the right to use custom-designed pieces for future themes/layouts.

Final payment will need to be made upon approval of final artwork. We are unable to print your order until full payment has been made.

Guest List

If you would like to personalise your invitations with guest names please supply us with your guest list as an excel file with all names typed exactly as you would like them to be spelt and written. eg. Mr & Mrs Smith, Luke and Lisa Smith, Luke & Lisa. And for place cards one name per line or cell, eg Luke, Lisa etc etc.

It is important that you ensure all spelling, punctuation and spacing is correct on your guest list as our printer uses an automated system and your list will be printed exactly as supplied. Any errors supplied by clients on their lists will be reprinted at the clients expense.

Sample Proof

A PDF proof will be emailed to you for approval before printing. Once you have checked and approved your proof, please email your approval in writing to Sarah at contact@sarahalison.com.au.

Once your approval has been received, your job will be sent to print and posted out to you. Please allow at least 14 days from approval of your proof to delivery. (A timing estimate will be sent to you upon approval).

If you require a hard copy proof please contact us for this.

Payment

Once your order has been confirmed a payment form will be emailed to you. As each job is printed on a to-order basis, full payment is required before work can commence on your job.

You can make payment by Bank Deposit, Cheque or Money Order.

Printing/Colour

All stationery is printed on a digital press & it is possible that slight colour variations can occur between each piece.

This is a natural effect of the printing process and not a design fault. There can also be slight colour variations between stock types depending on the stock used to print on (smooth matt or textured shimmer). Stationery can not be refunded or returned because of normal printing effects.

We take pride in the quality and standard of all our work from the beginning of the design stage to the finished product and assure you that all of our stationery is printed to the highest professional standards.

Writing on Stationery

Our stationery is not designed to be put through another printer to type the names of your guests. If this is the outcome you would like please ask for guest name personalisation when ordering.

If you are writing on the invitations it is advisable to test the pen you are planning to use first to avoid smudging and double printing.

We recommend that you allow at least 5-15 spare invitations in your order quantity to allow for calligrapher errors.

Delivery Information

Our personalised stationery is classed as print to order. This means that you supply your wording and information to us and we print it once you have approved the proofs.

Current timing for print to order stationery is 2-6 weeks from start to finish of your order depending on quantity & complexity.

This does depend on how long it takes for you to approve your proofs. If it takes you a little longer to approve your proofs or if there are a lot of alterations, this will affect the timing.

Postage & Packing

Postage for Wedding orders is $14.50 and will be sent via registered mail. We have chosen to align ourselves with the excellent delivery of Australia Post (unless otherwise stated), however occasions may arise where, despite their best efforts, your purchase may be delayed in the delivery process. Sarah Alison cannot and does not take responsibility for any items once posted and relies on conditions of postage through Australia Post. Should you choose to use another source of postage then you shall be responsible for collection and delivery of all items purchased from Sarah Alison.

Privacy

At Sarah Alison, we respect your privacy and promise not to disclose, exchange or sell your personal details to any third party. Your personal information will remain secure and confidential and will only be used to process your order or to inform you of special offers.
